Tango in Buenos Aires

In 1923 a Tango song was composed and the words were about a certain small street of the neighborhood, near the mouth of the river where the immigrants gathered with their instruments, with their voices and danced.  The street is Caminito, the neighborhood is La Boca, and the composer is Juan de Dios Filiberto.  And in Milongas worldwide today, this Tango song is still being played for dancers to enjoy. 

And just like Caminito, Buenos Aires has hundreds of streets, cafes, theaters and houses where Tango history comes alive every day and where Tango history continues to be written.
